Mind, Body and Health Stress Management
The series of stress management classes, each two hours long, meet once a week for eight weeks. Classes are only available to Sutter patients and staff. The classes are at no cost to the participant, and are ongoing throughout the year. The series includes lectures, discussions, and experiential exercises such as deep relaxation techniques, visualizations, and meditation. Feel free to invite a friend to support you.
The Mind, Body and Health stress management class series covers a different topic each week, and focuses on helping you understand how stress impacts your physical and mental health. You will learn, develop and practice skills to manage stress more affectively. Topics include:
- How stress affects your health and emotional well being
- What you can do to manage stress
- How you can build skills to improve mind/body health
- How you can become more stress-resilient
