MMC-Mobile Intensive Care Nursing (MICN)
Proof of medical malpractice insurance coverage and proof of current immunizations (including Hepatitis B) are also required. In addition to the didactic hours, the student will be required to have documentation of 3 Advance Life Support (ALS) calls while riding on an ALS ambulance, and documentation of 2 field to hospital radio transmissions. If the student does not work in a base station emergency department, she/he must also provide documentation of 4 hours spent observing in a base station emergency department. Textbook must be purchased on your own prior to class, "Sheehy's Manual of Emergency Care, 7th edition".
