Healthy eating. Active lifestyles. Teen Weight Managment

Are you worried about your adolescent's health? Our seven-week "Healthy eating. Active lifestyles" program is for parents and adolescents. We will help your family eat healthy, be active and learn ways to support your teens natural growth and well being. Our program focuses on the whole child - not just his or her weight - providing practical, problem solving techniques for creating a positive feeding and activity environment in your home.

Through this program, parents will learn how to

    • Provide regular and consistent meals and snacks
    • Use positive parenting techniques to support your adolescent
    • Promote your adolescent’s positive sense of self

Through this program, teens will learn how to

    • Build food management skills as they become more independent
    • Plan simple, super easy snacks/meals
    • Develop a positive sense of self

To find out more about the program come to one of our monthly informational group sessions facilitated by our adolescent weight management specialist Dr. Casey Schirmer and one of our adolescent weigh management dietitians, Danielle Reyes or Shoshanah Orzech.
