Adult Intensive Program

The Adult Intensive Program is geared toward patients who have major psychiatric illness, and the goal of our program is to return patients to the community at their highest level of functioning.

The 33-bed Adult Intensive Inpatient Program treats patients 18 years and older.

Program Components

• Program Focus
  Our team provides intensive, interdisciplinary care within a problem-solving, goal-oriented, and reality-based framework.
• Family Support
  We provide education and support groups for family members.
• Extensive Supportive Therapies
  Our program includes cognitive therapy, activity therapy, health education, occupational therapy, medication education, and psychopharmacology.
• Electroconvulsive Therapy
  This type of therapy can have beneficial results and is used where indicated.
