Genetic Counseling

Unique to the Carol Ann Read Breast Health Center is our risk assessment program. Our program can be a positive step towards understanding elements of your genetics and lifestyle habits that could be predictors for being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Our experienced genetic counselor meets with you to review your personal and family health history. The genetic counselor also reviews any additional medical records, and prepares a comprehensive report you can then use to decide whether or not to proceed with genetic testing.
