Support for Patients with Breast Cancer
"Supportive oncology care" is cancer care that focuses on all facets of cancer and its impact on the patient, rather than just focusing on the disease itself.
As a result, it encompasses symptom management, psychosocial support and interventions designed to lessen suffering associated with both the cancer itself and the treatment’s side effects as well as nurture the individual’s quality of life.
At Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, we know that any medical treatment may be a cause for concern. When you or your family needs help dealing with stress and anxiety caused by your condition and treatment, you will find that we listen and provide counseling services that take into consideration your entire well-being.
At Alta Bates Summit Medical Center we offer a wide variety of support groups and workshops. View our most current calendar
