Psychosocial and Social Services Counseling
A pivotal facet of supportive oncology care revolves around helping you and your family deal with the psychological and social aspects of having cancer.
Our team of highly experienced social workers work with patients and families to provide interventions oriented toward reducing the psychological impact of cancer as well as teaching mind-body techniques to facilitate coping and wellness. They help assess needs, identify resources and provide concrete and psychological interventions.
Always discuss your thoughts about your care plans with your oncologist.
