Supportive Cancer Care
Supportive oncology care is cancer care that focuses on all facets of cancer and its impact on you, rather than just focusing on the disease. It encompasses symptom management, psychosocial support and interventions designed to lessen the challenges associated with both the cancer and the treatment’s side effects, as well as to nurture you.
At Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, we know that any medical treatment may be a cause for concern. When you or your family needs help dealing with stress and anxiety caused by your condition and treatment, you will find that we listen and provide counseling services that take into consideration your entire well–being.
At Alta Bates Summit Medical Center we offer a wide variety of support groups and workshops. View our most current calendar.
