Cradle Roll
| Cradle Roll allows you to create a personal web space to celebrate the birth of your child, and invite family and friends to share the experience with you, no matter how far away they may be. We're offering this service free of charge to families giving birth at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. Your personal web space is completely private, accessible only by you and those you choose to invite. You can post photos and videos to share with your friends and family, and there’s a BLOG where your invited guests can read and respond to your posts. They can even upload video greetings! Cradle Roll also allows you to set up a mailing list in advance so that you can easily send out your birth announcement, and share your baby’s first photos. It’s very easy to use! Go to www.Cradleroll.org  and click on “Create an Account”. Fill in the short form and click the “Submit” button. An email will be sent to the address you provided. Just click on the link in the email to activate your account. To login, enter your email address and password. That’s it!If you have chosen to make a donation to the Cradle Roll either in honor of someone, or for your own child, and do not wish to set up an account, just follow the instructions in the paragraph above until you reach the “Create an Account” page. You'll notice at the very bottom of the page a button saying “Make a Donation”. Just click on that and you are on your way to enhancing the hospital’s program for mothers and babies, and to help buy needed equipment for the Birth Center and the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
