    Gibbons-Smith Publisher, 1997. Designed for newly diagnosed women, this book is a collection of first hand essays by women, their partners and family members, who have faced breast cancer.

    The Race is Run One Step at a Time: My Personal Struggle and Every Woman’s Guide to Taking Charge of Breast Cancer
    Nancy Brinker with Catherine McEvily Hariis, 1995. Nancy Brinker is a breast cancer survivor and founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, named for her sister. In this book, she tells her own moving story and discusses treatment options and statistics. All royalties from this book are donated to the Komen Foundation.
