Gynecologic Cancer Resources
In the United States, every six minutes a woman is diagnosed with gynecologic cancer. That totals more than 82,000 women a year. Gynecologic cancers represent a group of diseases that includes cancers of the ovary, uterus, cervix, vulva, vagina, and the fallopian tube. Due to the varied nature of these diseases, some of which are rare, a specialized interdisciplinary treatment plan is required.
Alta Bates Summit has ensured our community members receive the best possible care by keeping up on cancer research, medical technologies, and enhanced training and expertise. If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with gynecologic cancer, you can be sure that we have several teams of clinicians who specialize in your care.
