Markstein Services
Our Mission
Markstein Cancer Education and Prevention Services is committed to providing the public with the information needed to understand the role that self-examination, early detection and adoption of risk-reducing lifestyle habits play in both preventing and treating cancer.
We provide outreach education, free community cancer screenings and offer support and educational tools to those impacted by a diagnosis of cancer.
Our Clients
Anyone (men, women, family members, and friends) affected by cancer and seeking support may attend our free support groups or learn about our cancer resources. We provide education material as well as computer access for in-depth research and welcomes any community member to drop in for assistance or personal study.
Individualized meetings can be scheduled to assist in both sorting out treatment decision options and organizing thoughts and concerns regarding treatment decisions to be better prepared to meet with your physician. We can also arrange for you to speak with other cancer survivors with similar issues or experiences.
We Offer:
- Educational material and one on one education regarding screening options
- Dietary and lifestyle recommendations to reduce risk
