Dr. Paul Ludmer: Cardiac electrophysiology can help predict ahead of time if somebody is at risk for an abnormal heart rhythm that leads to sudden cardiac death.

Dr. Ludmer: In the area of cardiac electrophysiology we now have implanted pacemaker defibrillators that can help strengthen the heart muscle and prevent patients from having blackouts or from having their heart stop from that condition.
