More than two million Americans suffer from atrial fibrillation (AF), a rapid, irregular heart rhythm caused by abnormal electrical signals from the atria (upper chambers of the heart).

Other common heart problems include ventricular tachycardia (VT), a fast, regular heartbeat that begins in the ventricles (lower chambers) of the heart and supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), an abnormally fast, regular heartbeat from the atria (upper chambers) of the heart that begins and ends suddenly.
