As a member, you'll receive our e-Newsletter, discounts at East Bay businesses, advance invitations to special events, and access to our newest feature, "Ask Laurie the Librarian" - your personal connection to one of our outstanding Medical Librarians.
Simply fill in our online form with your email address, zip code, and which Lifestage interests you most. You may select as many "stages" as you like.
Once we receive your request for membership, we'll send you a confirmation e-mail that includes a Membership Card you can print at home. This will confirm your membership.
e-Newsletter
Members get the latest health and wellness information through our e-Newsletter, sent straight to your email inbox approximately once a month. You’ll get trustworthy information on topics of interest including disease management, wellness tips, nutrition and diet, and emotional wellbeing. All newsletter articles provide tips to maintain your optimum health, and are designed with a little something helpful for everyone at every stage of life!

Ask Laurie the Librarian
Ever wonder how to find trustworthy health information on the World Wide Web? Have you ever wished the internet came with it's own librarian? Now it does! "Ask Laurie the Librarian" connects members of Lifestages for Women with librarian-selected online health articles you can use and trust. If you are a member, simply e-mail your request or question to Laurie, one of our outstanding and established Medical Librarians at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.
Laurie is an experienced library expert who is respectful of sensitive questions and aware of the seriousness of many health concerns. Using her experience and expertise, Laurie will guide you to health articles and information online. As a member of the National Library of Medicine and Medical Library Association, she is also able to connect with the expertise and resources of medical librarians around the country.
Membership Cancellation
To cancel your membership at any time, click here. Type in your email address and select "Remove." Within 48 hours, your membership information will be permanently removed from our database.
