    Detoxification

The Detoxification phase of treatment takes place in a medically supervised setting under the care of a physician and 24-hour nursing staff. While in detox, clients are safely withdrawn from abused substances including alcohol, opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, and prescription medications. Special medication protocols are used for detoxification from opiates such as heroin, Vicodin, Oxycontin, Percodan, and other prescription medications.

    Rehabilitation: Inpatient and Residential

    • Inpatient rehab is for clients with ongoing medical problems.
    • Residential care is for those clients who do not require the same level of medical intervention.
The length of stay varies according to the client’s needs and payor authorization, and may last from one to four weeks. Clients in both levels have access to a physician and receive 24-hour nursing care. Each client works directly with MPI’s experienced staff of medical professionals and chemical dependency counselors to develop an individual treatment plan tailored to the client’s specific needs, abilities, strengths, and preferences.
