Internships
Thunder Road offers a stipend for educational purposes for formal professional advancement through a supervised program:
Field Placement
Supervised field placements are available to currently enrolled graduate students from a variety of disciplines. In a structured therapeutic community setting, placements are paired with a Clinician and are assigned clients for case management services. During the placement, interns will attend weekly treatment planning sessions, co-facilitate client groups and multifamily groups, and provide supervision to clients as needed.
A minimum time commitment of 20 hours a week includes one hour of individual supervision and two hours of group supervision with a licensed professional. Field placements are requested to make a commitment of nine to twelve months.
If you have any questions regarding Internships, contact Graeme Daniels, Intern Supervisor, at danielg@sutterhealth.org.
